Q: Is Trademark Home Inspection Licensed? 

A: Currently the State of Michigan does not license home inspectors however we do hold a Michigan Residential Builders License, we are certified by the International Association of Home Inspectors (interNACHI), and we are certified by the International Association of Indoor Air Quality Consultants (IAC2).  

Q: How long will it take to get my Mold Inspection results? 

A: Mold testing results are available within 1-2 days of doing the mold testing and inspection. 

Q: Do you mitigate Mold? 

A: No Trademark Home Inspection feels though we are certified to mitigate mold that it creates a conflict of interest so we only offer mold inspections and mold testing. 

Q: How long does it take to perform a Home Inspection? 

A: That depends on the size of the home, the age of the home, and how many things are being found a good rule of thumb is to allow at least three hours. 

Q: Should I be present for the Home Inspection? 

A: Yes we encourage everyone involved to be present during a home inspection, or mold inspection. Not only will we be investigating the current condition of the home but will also be giving many tips on how to maintain the home. 

Q: How far in advance do I need to book my Home Inspection, Mold Inspection, or Radon Testing? 

A: We can typically schedule any service within 24hrs. 

Q: How long does it take to get my Radon Testing Results? 

A: The test must be set up in your home for 48hrs after that we will have your results within 1 business day of Trademark Home Inspection picking up the radon test. 

Q: Do you mitigate Radon? 

A: No we feel this causes a conflict of interest and radon testing and radon mitigation should me performed by different companies.  

Q: What if the house fails the Home Inspection? 

A: There is no pass or fail with a home inspection. What Trademark Home Inspection will do is provide you with a thorough and accurate report of the homes current condition so you and your family can make an educated decision about the home.
